In this workshop, Dr. Sean Bogle will cover the essentials ALL good writing encompasses.  Whether you are a student writing an essay, an author writing a novel, or a professional writing an email or report in the workplace, there are certain components all effective writing must include. Learn about the components needed to adapt your writing to ensure success in various environments.

Having majored in Journalism as an undergraduate student, Dr. Bogle went on to live out the dream of becoming a published author and earning a doctorate degree with a published dissertation. He will share his journey as a writer and give you an opportunity to reflect on your own experiences (or lack of) in various writing environments. You will then identify personal and career goals and reflect on how those goals interface with developing your own dynamic writing skills that will allow you to excel in any situation.

Dr. Sean Bogle earned his Ed.D. in Learning, Leadership, and Community from Plymouth State University and is author of the novel "Rosethorn Blood". He also has a degree from Howard University in Broadcast Journalism and his vast experience ranges from working with middle grade students as a Language Arts teacher to being Assistant Dean of Student Affairs at Stanford University and Dean of Students at The Yale School of the Environment at Yale University. Currently, Dr. Bogle is the Community Engagement Coordinator at Kuali, Inc., a higher education software development company based in Salt Lake City, Utah.
