Calling all lovers of the dramatic arts! In this fully encompassing workshop, you will be introduced to the art of playwriting with bestselling playwright Chris Connors.
From planning to publishing, you will learn the format of writing a play, tips and tricks to producing a great stage play, polishing your work, and finding a publisher or theatrical distributor willing to show your work to the world. This workshop is a complete overview for those with little to no experience in writing for the stage. By the end of this workshop, you will have gained the skills needed to confidently begin writing your own successful play.
Chris Connors is a bestselling playwright, actor, and director. He holds a Master of Arts in writing for the screen and stage and has been actively working in the entertainment industry as a playwright and screenwriter since 2012.
Chris has written a variety of comedic and dramatic plays; worked with top production companies like Jigsaw Productions, Echo Lake Entertainment, and American High; directed original work for large audiences; and acted both in stage and film productions throughout the U.S. and Europe. His plays have been performed in several countries and his theatrical hits include, “The Game of Life,” Who killed Someone,” and “Dinner for the End of the World.” Chris is currently working as a playwright and screenwriter and lives in New York, NY.
All of our workshops are held over Zoom.
